HUMENNÉ – The hockey players of HK Spišská Nová Ves succeeded in the 34th round of the Tipos extraliga on the ice of the last Humenné 3:1. For the third game in a row, the home team is suffering from a large injury, and even on Sunday, the extra-league newcomer started without several supports.

The Spišići succeeded on the Humenné ice for the first time ever this season. “After the second period, we urged the players to be patient, because this is exactly how we expected the game to go. We waited for opportunities, we were disciplined and we are very happy that we managed to succeed here for the first time this season.”
After Poprad’s home loss against Nový Zámké, the team from Spiš already has a thirteen-point lead at the top of the table. “There are still a lot of games left until the end of the regular season.
