HK Spišská Nová Ves hockey players will also be led in the 2021/2022 season by head coach Miroslav Mosnár with assistant Róbert Spišák. The club informed about it on social networks.
Mosnár came to Spišská Nová Ves in January 2021, when he replaced Spišák as head coach. He moved to the position of assistant. Together, they led the team to victory in the Slovak Hockey League (SHL) and the return of Spišská Nová Ves to the extra league after twelve years. “After negotiations with the management of the club, they decided to stay in their positions for next season. We signed annual contracts with both of us. We keep our fingers crossed for them in building the staff.” said the club on facebook.
For 52-year-old Mosnár, this will be his second time in the highest Slovak competition as the head coach. In the year 2019/2020 he led the players of HC Nové Zámky, but in January 2020 he was dismissed by the club management.
