World War II’s biggest battles in Europe are over, Berlin has fallen, Adolf Hitler shot in his bunker, German forces capitulated in Kurzeme, and the Allies celebrate victory. Meanwhile, in the Balkans, Bosnia a Croatian on the border, until the end of May 1945, the battle continues, the last military clash in Europe in this great war. Yugoslav communist partisans destroy a unit of the Croatian nationalist army fighting desperately near the city of Ojaka.
In April 1941, German, Italian and Hungarian troops invaded the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and the Independent State of Croatia (ICC) was formed in the occupied territory, which also included Bosnia and Herzegovina. The rest of Yugoslavia was divided between Germany, Italy, Hungary and Bulgaria.
