On Wednesday morning, November 1st, 2023, a 15-year-old was hit by a car on Lindstrasse and injured.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene and left the scene of the accident without taking care of the injured person. The police are looking for witnesses.
Shortly after 6:00 a.m., a young person crossed Lindstrasse near the “Spital” bus stop behind a stationary post bus that was heading towards the city center. He was hit on the opposite lane by a car driving out of town and thrown away. The unknown driver of the car left the scene of the accident without paying any attention to the boy.
The 15-year-old was injured in the collision and was cared for by an uninvolved road user. He was later taken to hospital by emergency services.
Anyone who can provide information about the incident, particularly information about the vehicle that caused the incident or its driver, is asked to contact the Winterthur city police on 052 267 51 52.
