History surveythe famous historical review directed by Dominique Venner, appeared in 1992 and ceased publication in 1999. Long untraceable, its thirty issues are now available online on the site of the Iliade Institute for Long European Memory.

The first file (winter 1991–1992) had as its theme “Forty centuries of French identity”, and returned to the Gallic and Celtic roots of France. The last (January-February 1999) was devoted to French Louisiana, focusing on the example of the Acadians, the exploration of the West, or the epic of the Mississippi Company.

In eight years, the journal has taken an interest in the most diverse subjects. From the history of the rights (July-August 1998, n°27) to that of the secret services (March-April 1998, n°25), from Germany from Charlemagne to Helmuth Kohl (April-May 1997, n°20 ) to a dossier on De Gaulle and Gaullism (summer 1995, n°14) and many other subjects.
