Speaking of the dates of the Champions League round of 16 matches: the first legs will be played on February 15, 16, 22 and 23, while the second legs will be played on March 8, 9, 15 and 16.
New rules for knockout games in the Champions League
There will be no alien goal rule to determine the winner of the knockout rounds of UEFA competitions, including the UEFA Champions League.
According to the new rule, matches with tied goals go straight to extra time after the end of the second leg and, if necessary, to penalties.
