The price of gold moved up on Wednesday in Egypt as trading began today, and the gram is up £5, from yesterday’s prices, with the metal rising globally, to set today a new record.
The price of a gram of gold rose by £29 during yesterday’s trading on Tuesday.
Gold prices today
Prices for 14-karat gold rose to £889 per gram.
The price of 18-karat gold has risen to £1,143 per gram.
The price of 21-karat gold jumped to £1,333 per gram.
And the price of 24-karat gold has risen to £1,523 per gram.
The price of the gold pound
The price of the gold pound has risen to 10,664 pounds, and the price can vary from one dealer to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound.
The global price of gold
Global gold prices rose in the early hours of trading on Wednesday to around $1,741 an ounce, up slightly by 0.05%, according to Bloomberg data.
