Thiruvananthapuram: BMS has made a historic achievement in the opinion polls of KSRT unions. For the first time in 36 years, BMS was recognized.
This is the first time since the formation of the KSRTC that the BMS-led union has been elected as a recognized union.
Fifteen per cent was required for approval. BMS’s gains from 8.31 per cent last time.
Despite the CITU’s recognition, the turnout fell from 49 per cent to 35 per cent.
