A 17-year-old Hispanic teen has died after being hit by a vehicle in Brooklyn, New York City Police said.
According to authorities, the accident occurred on Saturday around 7:00 pm when the victim tried to cross an intersection on Kings Highway and was struck by a BMW that was being driven by a 19-year-old man. The driver was driving west on Avenue K.
The 17-year-old was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead, while the 19-year-old remained at the scene of the incident.
Authorities are investigating the case and no charges have yet been filed.
