CHARLOTTE, North Carolina.- A man was driving while intoxicated Thursday when he caused a fatal crash east of Charlotte. The victim was a 27-year-old Hispanic father.

Luis Estuardo Menchu Cocinero, father of two girls, ages 2 and 3, was driving on East WT Harris Boulevard around 1:30 am when he was hit by a 2016 Maserati Ghilbi S. The driver, identified as Kevin Samkia, lost control until colliding with the vehicle Hispanic, a 2015 Scion FR-S.
