HisarA young man was killed in Hisar, Haryana. The attackers had come riding a bicycle and the young man was sitting at his shop. The attackers came to the shop because they were buying a cold drink and when the shopkeeper started to give the cold drink to the young man, they opened fire and the young man died in the shooting. The name of the deceased youth was announced as Sonu, who lived in Bugana village. The incident was reported around 8.30am on Thursday.
Villagers and family members blocked the Hisar-Chandigarh highway demanding the arrest of the accused, but the jam was cleared after some time. The police have started the investigation of the case.
According to the information, Sonu was sitting in the shop around 8.30 in the morning, when 4 assailants came riding on 2 bikes. The assailants shot at him and Sonu was hit by 2-3 bullets. The bike rider and the assailant fled the scene. The young man had a love marriage only 6 months ago. When the family members got information about the incident, they reached the spot. After this, the family members blocked the Chandigarh Highway demanding the arrest of the accused.
After convincing the police, the family members of the deceased have opened the Chandigarh Highway. He has also given an ultimatum to the police till 4 p.m. If the accused is not arrested they will block the road again. The police have confirmed the family of the deceased. The forensic team has reached the spot and started collecting evidence. The police have recorded the statements of the family members of the deceased youth. The body was taken to Hisar Civil Hospital for post-mortem.
