It is a very complicated time for Dries Mertens. The 33-year-old Belgian striker of the Naples a few days ago he was forced to return home to heal his injured left ankle in mid-December in the match against Inter and that he is making him play in fits and starts after forcing him to stay out for a month, so now he is starting the rehabilitation of that ankle.

The news, however, became public in Belgium only in the last few hours.
As reported in the Flemish-language newspaper “The last news”, something went wrong during the landing, probably due to bad weather and, in particular, the heavy rain, which made it difficult for the pilot to maneuver. The plane landed on the turf of the safety zone. Luckily all people on board were left unharmed, including Mertens himself, who had his own on board Juliette dog.
“We were called on Saturday evening around 21.20 to provide assistance – explained a member of the team Antwerp Fire Brigade -, and we brought the plane back on the runway ”. Really a great fear for Mertens, which adds to the ankle problem that forced him to jump five league games between mid-December and mid-January, to enter the second half with Fiorentina e Verona and also in Super Cup against the Juventus and finally, after entering the second half in Italian Cup against it Spice coming out before the 90 ‘, to also skip the last one on Sunday against Parma, since he had just returned home.
