The mother of a 5-year-old child found dead in the United States has reportedly expressed her wish to see him disappear, even comparing him to serial killer Ted Bundy.
Chilling new details about the disappearance and death of little Elijah. The five-year-old was reported missing in the United States before being found dead in a Massachusetts wood. In mid-October, his mother Danielle Denise Dauphinais, aged 35, was arrested. Just like her companion, Joseph Strapf, 30 years old. The “Boston Globe” reveals messages that the mother would have sent, last June, to an old acquaintance who spoke about her teenager on the Snapchat application.
The latter, Erika Wolfe, would have received messages from Danielle Denise Dauphinais, in which she would also have complained about her boy. “It’s sad because I have no connection with this child,” she allegedly told him, comparing Elijah to serial killers Ted Bundy and Jeffrey Dahmer. “It’s getting worse. I want him to go. I can not stand him anymore. It’s a fucking nightmare that I don’t wake up from, ”she would have said again. Erika Wolfe would not have followed up on the conversation and would have forgotten, until she saw the news on television, about the disappearance of the child. Erika Wolfe reportedly said she sent the screenshots of the messages to a relative of Denise Dauphinais, who claimed to have notified the authorities. Denise Dauphinais’ lawyer told the “Daily Beast” that he was not sure of the veracity of these messages and that he wanted confirmation.
According to the “Daily Beast”, Elijah, who lived with his father, was sent to his mother, who had five other children, in May 2020. However, the mother would have lost her custody in the past, accused in particular of violence and substance use. The mother and her companion were arrested in the Bronx and charged with endangering the life of a child and manipulating witnesses. Police say the defendants asked relatives to lie about Elijah, including where he lived, so they could evade questions from child protection services. His disappearance has never been reported. Prosecutor Cruz said he was confident that the person responsible for Elijah’s death would be “held accountable” for his actions. “The investigation is ongoing, and it is impossible to say who will be charged or not charged in this case,” he said.
