From the next school year, Michel Drucker will host a new version of his cult show “Vivement Dimanche”. A few months after his long hospitalization, the host is already working to satisfy his loyal fans. Active on television for over 56 years, Michel Drucker today takes on the roles of host and producer. In five decades, he has thus accumulated a nice little fortune and a very fine heritage.
Michel Drucker: his monthly salary revealed
At the helm of the show “Vivement Dimanche” since 1998, Michel Drucker is now paid nearly € 40,000 per month to host it. He is also the head of his own production company called DMD … which is a hit since the annual turnover is around 10 million euros. In 2017, Dany’s husband was therefore able to pay himself 1.4 million dividends as revealed by our colleagues from Marie France, in particular thanks to a margin of 18% generated that year.
This great progression and this nice payment allowed Michel Drucker to afford a private plane. In 2017, the host bought a high-tech Diamond Aircraft device worth one million euros. This six-seater aircraft is only owned by 11 people in France, according to the distributor.
Michel Drucker: these other activities that bring him a lot of money
Apart from his activity as host and producer, Michel Drucker has other income. For example, he is the operator of the famous Gabriel studio where many shows are shot. He rents the trays to many producers like Laurent Ruquier. The premises are also rented for company conventions.
Add to that his benefits as an author as he has written several books in recent years. According to Capital magazine, his works have sold over 750,000 copies. Must also be accounted for: the profits of his show “Alone with you …” and the invoicing of the thousands of television archives that his company holds. According to Capital, 30 seconds would cost several hundred euros. To compare, know that the INA, the National Audiovisual Institute would charge up to 760 euros for 30 seconds.
