VIRGINIA, KOMPAS.TV – A man in the United States (US) won a lottery worth 1 million US dollars or equivalent to Rp. 14 billion when he bought milk for his son.
Dennis Willoughby from North Chesterfield, Virginia, USA went to his local convenience store to buy chocolate milk for his son.
At that time, he decided to buy a swipe lottery ticket.
As revealed by Virginia Lottery officials, Wednesday (12/29/2021), it turns out that the ticket is the main prize worth 1 million US dollars.

Willoughby was the winner of the second grand prize of the lottery game.
Quoted from CNN, according to the Virginia Lottery office, the chance of winning the lottery is 1: 1,632,000.
The lucky man was given two options to take the $1 million prize.
He can take it in full for 30 years, or a one-time cash payment of US$640,205 (Rp9.1 billion) before taxes.
Willougbhy chose the latter option.
