His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Advisor, met today with US Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways to develop them to serve the common interests of the two countries. They stressed the importance of working to support and deliver humanitarian aid in a sustainable manner to the brotherly Palestinian people in cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries and relevant international organizations.
The two sides stressed the need to discuss and implement all opportunities aimed at a sustainable ceasefire and allowing the smooth entry of important humanitarian aid.
The two sides also agreed that the return of political negotiations for the sake of a two-state solution is the important and ultimate goal of ending the conflict and achieving stability and security in the region.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and His Excellency Yousef Al Otaiba, the UAE Ambassador to the United States of America.
