The meeting with the Malaysian Prime Minister witnessed the approval of the launch of two academic chairs for scientific research in institutions of higher education in Kuala Lumpur, the first in the name of Sheikh Zayed at the Institute of Strategic and International Studies in Malaysia, with the aim of promoting studies and academic research in the regions of West Asia and Southeast Asia; The second is in the name of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak at the Malaysian National Defense University in order to support efforts to empower women and girls in the field of peace and security and support peacekeeping missions at the United Nations.

During the visit, a joint declaration of intent was signed to launch talks to reach a comprehensive economic partnership agreement between the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Malaysia, in addition to discussing ways to enhance cooperation in the field of energy, especially clean energy and climate action.
