Abu Dhabi, September 13 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region, received at the Palm Palace His Excellency Major General Salem Saeed bin Ghafan Al Jabri, Commander of the National Guard, accompanied by a number of senior officers.
During the meeting, His Highness was briefed on the new identity of the National Guard leadership, its vision, mission, role in society, and its strategic and security objectives, in addition to the tasks, duties, and future strategic plans that aim to raise the efficiency of work in the security field and improve professional performance, as well as the work mechanism and support that the leadership provides to vital installations at the state level.
His Highness also learned about the strategy of qualifying, training and developing the cadres followed in the leadership of the National Guard, upgrading them and developing capabilities with the aim of maintaining security and protecting national gains.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan pointed out the importance of the vital role played by the National Guard leadership at the state level, praising the efficiency of its members in preserving the achievements, preserving the stability of the state and enhancing its security.
His Highness stressed that the country’s wise leadership is constantly working to raise the readiness of its security agencies, provide them with the latest security technical developments, and pay attention to building qualified and trained cadres in accordance with the best international standards.
In turn, the Commander of the National Guard expressed his happiness and the accompanying delegation to meet with His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan and to listen to the generous directives of His Highness for the sake of the nation’s elevation and progress, which will constitute a great incentive for members of the National Guard to exert more effort to achieve the aspirations of the wise leadership and its ambition for the always better.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Ahmed Matar Al Dhaheri, Head of the Office of His Highness the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region.
