NEW YORK, 22nd September, WAM / His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with His Excellency Hamza Abdi Barre, Prime Minister of the sisterly Federal Republic of Somalia, on the sidelines of the seventy-eighth session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The two sides discussed bilateral cooperation relations and a number of topics on the agenda of the United Nations General Assembly.
His Highness and the Prime Minister of Somalia also reviewed a number of issues of common interest and developments in the situation at the regional and international levels.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasized the distinguished fraternal relations between the two countries, expressing his wishes for the sisterly Republic of Somalia and its people for progress and prosperity.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State.
