Father Boutros Daniel, head of the Catholic Center for Cinema, said that the great artist Youssef Fawzy is in very good health and psychological condition, explaining that he saw this himself during his visit to him, today, at his home.
Daniel revealed the details of the visit in statements to “Masrawy,” noting that the morale of Fawzi is high, adding: “The beautiful artist is surprisingly delighted, and we have met his spirits very high.”
He confirmed that they sat and talked for a long time, saying: “We sat with him for more than an hour, and he drank tea with us, and it was very ordinary, and he ate cake with a fork and knife, and shook with us and told us about his day.”
And about whether his morale affected his health, to the extent that he made him look normal through the pictures, Daniel said: “He saw me his hands and said, I have a good look, how I said, adding, uh, of course,” adding: “His hands did not tremble.”
The President of the Catholic Center for Cinema stressed that Fawzi does not bear any grudge towards anyone, and in contrast to him, he gave an excuse to everyone who was late in asking and reassuring about him and his health.
Father Boutros Daniel, head of the Catholic Center for Cinema, visited the artist Youssef Fawzy at his home today, after a video clip of him was published, in which he talked about his illness with “Parkinson’s”.
Artist Youssef Fawzi has been absent from art since 2015, after suffering from Parkinson’s disease, as he was his last participation in the series “Crown Prince” with the director Mohamed Al-Nukaly.
