Yesterday, the City Council’s Contracting Board agreed to submit an award proposal to the company RoyalVerd Service for the contract for the maintenance and care of the lawn of the Carlos Tartiere stadium football field. The Consistory, which had launched the commission for 125,000 euros per year and with an extension of two seasons, has taken into account the cheapest price of the company, ten thousand euros below the tender price.
The new maintenance service will come into force, according to the forecasts of the government team, on April 17. The contract, in this sense, includes the services of irrigation, control, mowing and fertilization of the green, among others, as well as its patching and signaling after the most intense seasons of the league, which cause a more pronounced wear.
