Hired social workers cost many millions in Gothenburg

GothenburgOver the past two years, the city of Gothenburg has had to hire social workers for just over 21 million SEK.
The reasons are the high staff turnover in social services and many vacancies.
– It was an emergency solution to maintain legal certainty, says Catharina Gabrielsson, department head of the social administration Centrum.
