Ratina- Mine was a house where I really liked movies. When writing and my love of film came together, I felt I should write a screenplay. She wrote in her childhood.
Studied economics and graphics. Once while traveling to Chennai I had a chance to meet actress Revathi. I asked how to get to the cinema. I got the answer that you should be AD. She gave number and email.

How does Indu and Ratina become friends?
Ratina – Salimika says ‘My new assistant director is someone you should know’. She gave Indu’s number. I called Indu and got to know him. At that time, some friends who are interested in movies call to make a movie together.
Indu – It was when they gathered at the Kochi apartment that they learned Ratina was there and saw them in person for the first time. Except for the two of us in the flat, all the others were men. The plan was to make an anthology film.
Ratina – The Anthology Project did not take place.
But it was that project that made us true friends. We became so close that we understood each other at a glance. We followed each other into cinematic dreams.
One of the highlights of Indu and Ratina’s film was the stars
Indu – We got best actors due to our growth in story and script. Having made three films as an assistant director and knowing many directors, the film 19(1)(a) was completely out of my comfort zone.
It was planned work on a very small budget. My fifth or sixth floor. All previous plans were not implemented for various reasons.
Although this film is small, I felt it was my “soul” work. Vijay Sethupathi came to my mind because he is a Tamil character. Ramya Nambeesan gives Vijay Sethupathi’s manager number. cried Ramya.

How did you fix Vijay Sethupathi date?
When Sethupathi went to the set of ‘Mamanita’ in Indu-Kavalat, he said there is no date. He asked if he could listen to my story for five minutes. They are staying in a hotel in Alappuzha. He told me to get in the car on the way back to Alappuzha from Kavalathu locality. My plan was to get off somewhere after five minutes of telling the story and go back to the bus.
All the people in the car were Tamils. I started telling the story in Malayalam. After two minutes it was understood that everyone including Sethupathi was showing interest in the story. It’s like they forgot about the five minutes. With that, it was confirmed that the story was being worked on.
Good block on the road luckily. It took me about two hours to reach Alappuzha.
Even after reaching the hotel, they didn’t leave me. Invited to drink tea. We discussed the film again. After asking for five minutes, Vijay Sethupathi gave me the date back.

Ratina- I’ve been a big Mammootty fan for a long time. Whatever he writes, the hero will be Mammootty. So I struggled and organized the issue of Mammooka. From time to time she would text her saying that he wanted to see her. Mammooka gets a date after much effort.

Ratina – If we decide to follow our passion, nothing can stand in our way. I don’t wait for others to accept my wishes and desires. Cinema is also my profession.

Indu – I don’t want to say much about the family. This saying itself sometimes makes us lose focus of understanding each other only through the medium of cinema. Everything will work out his way.
