HIMARS on the territory of Russia will not be applied

Ukraine has pledged not to use US precision-guided weapons, including HIMARS, against targets in the Russian Federation.

According to the minister, he wrote down the corresponding obligations in a letter to his American colleague. In it, he specified that Ukraine would use the supplied weapons to deter the enemy and de-occupy the temporarily occupied territories.

In addition, the Pentagon was interested in whether Kyiv would use these weapons in the occupied Crimea.

“I said that we have enough strategic facilities in the Ukrainian territories occupied by Russians. To which he (the head of the Pentagon Lloyd Austin – ed.) replied: we understand you,” Reznikov said.
