HIMARS missile artillery systems hit several units of the occupying army on the island of Jarilhach in the Kherson region, the National Resistance Center of Ukraine announced.

A drone video released by the center shows five Russian infantry units stationed on the island. Each of them is hit by a missile. One of them is shown in close-up.
Dzharylhacha Island is located 70 kilometers from the nearest territory controlled by Ukraine.
On May 19, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Army reported that the occupiers had set up a military landfill on Dzharylhacha Island, as well as filled up a sand connection with the mainland, the “Liga” portal reminds.
Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine began on the morning of February 24, 2022, with rocket fire, airstrikes, and the arrival of ground forces. Russia initially cited the “denazification” of Ukraine as one of the goals of the invasion.
