During her two-year tenure, Hahn will be in Chicago for several programs. In December she is supposed to perform the Dvorak Violin Concerto with the CSO. In the coming season she will also play at two free “Bring Your Own Baby” concerts for young parents and their toddlers.

With the new role of a resident artist, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra wants to offer opportunities for long-term collaboration with individual musicians as well as reaching new audiences.
