Hilarious Moment on Live TV: Susanne Daubner Laughs Uncontrollably during “Tagesschau” Segment

At the beginning of the 7 a.m. “Tagesschau” on Wednesday morning there is a speaker Susanne Daubner couldn’t stop laughing. The introduction by “Morgenmagazin” presenter Sven Lorig apparently amused her so much that she had to stop and stop for half a minute and start laughing.

The ARD “Morgenmagazin” was previously about the sport of rugby. In an interview with “MoMa” colleague Anna Planken, Lorig previously admitted that he did not know the rules of the sport sufficiently. “I don’t even know how rugby works. (…) We have to deal with it more.”

When his colleague suggested that he could read the rules for “about 3:40 minutes” during the news, Lorig replied dryly: “No, I have to concentrate on that [sic].“ There was then no stopping Daubner.

Daubner apologized to those watching several times before reading the news aloud without further interruption. Afterwards, “MoMa” presenter Lorig asked: “Susanne, did I get you out? I’m sorry for that. (…) Was it my fault?” He said heart with his hands and showed it to the camera.

And actually, Lorig seems to be the culprit: “Tagesschau” spokeswoman Daubner replied briefly and succinctly: “Yes.” Then it goes Lorig falls to his knees and apologizes again. “I’m sorry.” He then praises the professionalism of his ARD colleague. “But you did great. You did really well. Great!”

TikTok community enjoys Daubner

On the short message platform X (formerly Twitter) The “Tagesschau” commented on the incident with these words: “When you’re not fully awake in the morning and think everything is funny!” Daubner actually wanted to read out the news about the “chemical summit” in the Chancellery. “Actually – because what Sven Lorig then said caused her to laugh…” On social media, users react with humor.

“Tagesschau” speakers are actually known for without much emotion, reading out the news of the day. This is precisely why slips of the tongue or other slip-ups always cause a stir on social media. Speaker Susanne Daubner has also been delighting the “Tagesschau” TikTok community for a long time with her ideas for the youth words of the year.
