Beacon Hill, 457 meters high, is located in the north of Kowloon and belongs to the Lion Rock Country Park. To climb Beacon Hill, you can choose to walk along the fifth section of the MacLehose Trail from Tsz Wan Shan, or go up the mountain via the Eagle’s Nest Mountain Nature Education Trail. No matter where you go up the mountain, you have to go through a long ladder, which is a test of physical strength. There is a white wave on the top of Beacon Hill, which is the radar station of the Civil Aviation Department. Beacon Hill is located on the MacLehose Trail, and the nearby luxury residential area can be seen from the top of the hill. Beacon Hill is the must-pass route for Oxfam Trailwalkers every year, and this “White Wave” is an important supply station.
