City only responded in the second half, through Julian Alvarez’s goal in the 58th minute. However, Wolves were able to take the lead again through Hwang Hee-chan’s goal in the 66th minute, which became the winning goal.
This result made City suffer their first defeat. City have now only collected 18 points from 7 matches, still at the top of the Premier League standings. City are in danger of being evicted by Liverpool, who will only compete in a moment. Meanwhile Wolves scored their second win, and now have 7 points in 13th position.
