After 90 minutes it was 1: 1. Alexander Zintschenko (27th) brought the Ukrainians into the lead, Emil Forsberg (43rd) managed to equalize. The RB Leipzig striker has scored four times in the last three games and is number two behind leader Cristiano Ronaldo (5) in the tournament shooting list with this mark, together with Karim Benzema (FRA) and Patrick Schick (CZE). The fact that Forsberg did not catch up with the Portuguese had to do with bad luck, as he also hit aluminum twice.
His team ended the game after a brutal foul by Marcus Danielson (98.) in the minority. Nevertheless, it looked like a penalty shoot-out before Dowbyk headed a Zinchenko cross with his first international goal and became the match winner.
