Metalists, you have a solid root. On Thursday, the rain didn’t deter them from the popular festival, on Saturday the visitors had to endure a fire like in the Sahara. Temperatures already exceeded the tropical thirties in the morning and the meteorologists’ warning that Saturday will be the hottest day of the year was confirmed. But the fans were indestructible, just sprinkled with water from the ubiquitous firefighters and organizers, and they were like reborn.

“Doctors recommend following a drinking regimen, so I’m going for one,” laughed twenty-six-year-old Adam in the queue. He has been going to the festival for several years with a group of friends from Pilsen. “It’s our tradition, there is a relaxed atmosphere in Vizovice, we always enjoy it a lot. The weather is crazy for the festival, but the music will make up for it,” said Karel, who came with his wife Věra.
