Pas-de-Calais

The highlights of this election in Pas-de-Calais are the RN which won a seat in the Senate with Christopher Szczurek and which therefore allows the RN to return to the Senate; the re-election of Jean-Marie Vanlerenberghe, dean of the Senate at the age of 84; Brigitte Bourguignon, who was on Jean-Marie Vanlerenberghe’s list, fails to win a seat; the Socialist Party loses a seat.

The RN Christopher Szczurek is elected senator in Pas-de-Calais with 14.12% of the vote. He is currently, at 38 years old, the first deputy mayor of Hénin-Beaumont, a town led by RN Steeve Briois. With him, the RN returns to the Palais du Luxembourg. Jean-Marie Vanlerenberghethe 84-year-old outgoing senator, dean of the Senate, of Modem, is re-elected with 12.22% for a 4th term. Her list only obtained one seat: Brigitte Bourguignon who was in second position on her list was therefore not elected. Jean-François Rapinthe outgoing senator various rights is re-elected with 25.98% of the votes. Her list having obtained two seats, Amel Gacquerre is also re-elected.
