Successfully opened by Laval on Wednesday, the 12th day of D1 Futsal continued on Saturday with successes for Nantes Métropole (photo) and Paris ACASA, and a draw for SC Paris. Last game Sunday.
As a self-respecting leader, Etoile Lavalloise fired first to inaugurate the second leg of the D1 Futsal championship with a win against UJS Toulouse (6-3) last Wednesday. Like a good dolphin, Nantes Métropole responded by starting the season again with an 8-2 win at Béthune on Saturday. Behind them, the third step of the podium is now occupied by Paris ACASA thanks to the success achieved at the Kremlin-Bicêtre (8-5) and the draw by SC Paris in Toulon (4-4).
The last match of this 12th matchday will take place on Sunday afternoon and will concern the bottom of the table as Marcouville City CP (11th) will receive FC Kingersheim (9th).

Nantes Métropole’s stoppage-time away match against FC Béthune quickly took on the look of a successful business trip, with French international Steve Bendali opening the scoring forty-one seconds after kick-off (see tweet below). The Nantes machine had started and didn’t stop: 5-0 at halftime with goals from Gora Diop (4th, 17th), then 8-0 in the second half, including goals from Ouassini Guirio (27th) and again Bendali (37th)! The northerners could only salvage their honor at the end of the game with a brace from Sampaio Santos (8-2), which they had failed to do in the first leg with a 10-0 defeat in Loire-Atlantique.

Toulon Elite catch SC Paris (4-4)
After Laval, held in respect (3-3) in the Var, the Toulonnais resisted SC Paris in their room. But the capital’s players will wonder how they could not win a game in which they led 4-1 thanks to two braces from Fineo de Araujo (1st, 8th) and the tricolor international Sid Belhaj (3rd, 17th ). This is however what happened to them, the Varois returned to their height from Mesa (18), Renan (29) and Rodrigo Viana (33, see tweet below), in a warm atmosphere. SC Paris could regret these lost points.
