The award ceremony, which was run by the Syndicate of Representative Professions, did not witness major surprises, except that the jury awarded the artist Majed Al-Kadwani the award for best actor for the series “Family Theme”; While the same award was won in the audience category, the artist, Mohamed Ramadan, for the series “Jaafar Al-Omda.”
As for the artist, Mona Zaki, she won the audience and jury awards for the best actress category for the series “Under Guardianship” without competition, while the artist Hala Sidqi was awarded a special jury award for her role in “Jaafar Al-Omda”, which won all audience awards.

Hala Sidqi believes that awarding her a special award from this festival is a “great appreciation that came in its time,” telling Al-Sharq Al-Awsat: “The credit for my television and cinematic launch was given to the late directors Nour Al-Demerdash and Atef Al-Tayeb.
