Stars and experts in the jury
At the final gala of the 14th edition of the Miss Supranational competition, the audience, guests and spectators were welcomed by model Jo Ann Strauss and Martin Fitch. The hosts also presented the jury, which included: Miss Supranational 2022 Lalela Mswane, Mister Supranational 2022 Luis Galvez Blanco, model and host of the Polsat reality show “Farma” Marcelina Zawadzka, Miss Supranational 2016 Srinidhi Ramesh Shetty, representative of JW Construction Patrycja Tuchlińska, general director Schubert brand Robert Czepiel, singer Shontelle and the founder, creator and general director of the Miss Supranational organization Gerhard Parzutka von Lipiński. They were the most important decision of the evening!
All the candidates on stage
It’s time for the most important heroes of the gala to introduce themselves. It was followed by girls from Africa, Asia, both Americas and Europe. A total of sixty-five candidates for the title and the crown of the most beautiful, including the representative of Poland, Aleksandra Klepaczka.
In national costumes
One of the traditional and extremely important moments for candidates at each prestigious beauty contest is the presentation of creations containing elements referring to the culture and history of the represented country. Aleksandra Klepaczka’s national costume was dominated by black and red, flowers and a highlander motif with imitation of red beads and a characteristic scarf. The outfit was designed by Aneta Larysa-Knap.
First decisions
The gala evening at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz was just getting started, and Martin Fitch had already announced the results of two competitions. Luciana Martínez, a representative of El Salvador, was chosen by the photojournalists as Miss Photogenic. All the candidates voted for Miss Likeability, which was Ayanda Thabethe from South Africa.
Musical accents
The second part of the gala began with a joint performance by Gromee and Sara Chmiel. The duo presented a medley with the hits “Light Me Up” and “Fearless”, and the musicians were accompanied on stage by dancers from Tomasz Barański’s Next Dance group.
World fashion
The candidates for the title are back on stage, this time in the “Global Fashion Show”. This is the last moment when 65 girls presented themselves. The time has come to get to know the TOP 24 Miss Supranational pageants and the winners of the awards for the nicest girl (Miss Curacao Andreina Pereira), Miss Supra Chat (Miss Philippines Pauline Amelinckx), Miss Supra Model The Year (Miss Zimbabwe Sakhile Dube) and Miss Influencers (Miss Brazil Sancler Frantz). The TOP 24 included, among others: representative of Poland.
International stars
After the emotions associated with the announcement of TOP 24, it’s time to cool down. Preferably with good music. On stage Shontelle and the hit “Perfect Nightmare”, followed by the Polish star who conquered the American version of “Mam Talent”, i.e. Sara James with the hit “My Wave”.
In bathing suits
The hottest show during the final gala! Miss Supranational 2024 finalists boasted shapely figures with tanned, well-groomed bodies. Everyone’s hearts beat faster, and for the jurors it was the last moment to think about choosing the best twelve.
Big hits
In front of the audience and viewers for the second time this evening Gromee and Sara Chmiel. This time with the hit “Tatoo” from Loreen’s repertoire and the song “Titanium”, which Sia has in her discography.
Without a Polish woman in the TOP 12
The beginning of the third part of the official gala with a strong blow! Jo Ann Strauss and Martin Fitch announced which girls were in the top 12 of the final. The experts did not have an easy task. Unfortunately, they finally decided that there was no place for Aleksandra Klepaczka in this group.
Why them?
The girls from the best twelve had twenty seconds each to convince the jurors in a few sentences. It was touching, cheerful, sentimental and creative. But which of them captivated the experts the most? They all emphasized that being Miss Supranational is not only a reward, but also a challenge and responsibility.
The first such award
During the Friday evening in Nowy Sącz, a special moment was the presentation of a special award to Srinidhi Ramesh Shetty. Miss Supranational 2016 received the first Supraicona title in history. – You are an inspiration for women all over the world – justified the general director of the organization, Gerhard Parzutka von Lipiński, presenting the statuette. – It’s an honor to share the stage with you – the hosts addressed the laureate.
Elegant and classy
During the presentation in evening clothes, it became even more solemn and serious. Especially that the next stage was the announcement of the top five. It included: Miss Vietnam Ngan Dang Thanh, Miss Ecuador Andrea Aguilera, Miss Great Britain Emma Rose Collingridge, Miss Philippines Pauline Amelinckx and Miss Brazil Sancler Frantz.
Hard questions
The girls from the top five had to face stress by answering questions from the hosts. ‘It’s not about the best answer, it’s about authenticity,’ stressed Jo Ann Strauss. The candidates did very well, proving that they fully deserved a place in the finals, and Sara James invited us for a moment of rest from the competition emotions, performing the song “Hula Hop”.
Time of decisions
Shontelle performed the hit “Impossible”, the hosts handed out sashes to the ambassadors of the competition on individual continents, and the five best girls once again presented themselves on the stage of the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater. But when Lalela Mswane, Marcelina Zawadzka, Luis Galvez Blanco and Srinidhi Ramesh Shetty appeared next to them, it became clear that it was time to meet Miss Supranational.
