In addition to the concerts of: Walid Tawfik, Hisham Kharma, Lina Shamamian, the vocalist Ahmed Al-Omari, Sheikh Yassin Al-Tohamy, Abeer Nehme with the artist Mohamed Mohsen, accompanied by the Cine Symphony Orchestra, led by Maestro Ahmed Oweida, Nesma Abdel Aziz, Medhat Saleh, accompanied by the pianist Amr Selim and the band. Musical performances led by Maestro Ahmed Amer, Choir of the Talent Development Center, musician Omar Khairat accompanied by the Cairo Opera Orchestra led by Maestro Nayer Nagy, in addition to performances by international bands in cooperation with the Foreign Cultural Relations Sector.
The Salah El-Din Citadel International Festival of Music and Singing is organized by the Egyptian Opera House, headed by Dr. Khaled Dagher, in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities. It aims to provide serious creative colors that suit the tastes of different age and social groups.
The head of the opera added: “The events witness the first participation of a number of Egyptian and Arab artists, in addition to various singing duets and the emergence of a number of stars of the nineties,” noting that the number of events this year reaches 45 concerts, where two consecutive concerts are held at Al-Mahki Theater, in addition to a party hosted by An external theater has been created and prepared to receive the audience during entry.
And Dr. Khaled Dagher continued: “5,000 seats have been set up for event guests, along with huge screens to transmit the shows to facilitate the audience.”
