By 8:30 at night, it was easy to get lost and not find yourself, among so many people in costumes and the loud music. However, the New York Police prepared a security device with more than 2,000 troops, which will remain active after 10:30 at night, the time at which the parade ended.
Attending the activity with alcoholic beverages was prohibited and it was not permitted to leave packages on the ground, which had to be alerted to the authorities.
While there was no credible threat before or during the Halloween parade, protests in the Big Apple, due to the conflict between Israel and Palestine, prompted the NYPD to activate a maximum security device.
The Halloween parade is a tradition in the streets of New York, where Americans, Hispanics and people of other origins enjoy with family and friends. The costumes are the greatest attraction and occurrence, in addition to the music, dances and games.
