The Abu Dhabi Police General Command and the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority concluded their participation in the 20th session of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, the curtain on its activities the day before yesterday, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC).
During the participation, Abu Dhabi Police presented exciting horse and chulip art shows for the Abu Dhabi Police Knights Band, Department of Special Patrols, and the platform witnessed a large turnout of visitors and medical and veterinary consultations on the health, safety and care of horses and dogs and those interested and hobbyists in raising horses and dogs.
The visitors were briefed on the initiatives and services of the Directorate of Drivers and Vehicles Licensing, most notably the mobile station service to book a vehicle inspection appointment at its locations, the service for delivering vehicle plates to all emirates of the country, the registration service for recreational land bicycles, and the children’s licenses initiative to educate children about instructional plates and the laws of riding in vehicles.
The Security Inspection Department (K9) participated and presented its outstanding performance with impressive displays from police dogs, with the aim of highlighting their skills and the training capabilities of the Security Inspection Department trainers.
The show received great public interaction as part of Abu Dhabi Police’s keenness to introduce the role of police dogs in the comprehensive security system, and combating and preventing crime. The participation included various segments from the Search and Rescue Team (K9), the raid and break-in team, and also segments presented by the Community Activities Branch.
The Police Heritage Section of the Protocol and Public Relations Department presented some illustrated historical information and an explanation of Abu Dhabi Police, in addition to lectures at the Youth Council on the history of police and security.
Visitors to the exhibition were also introduced to the “Aman Service”, which is one of the most important initiatives of Abu Dhabi Police, to enhance the societal role in maintaining the security and stability of society.
