Loading times of various Sony games on PlayStation 4 are now much shorter
Various PlayStation 4 games from Sony itself have received much improved loading times via patches.
Games like The Last of Us: Remastered, Until Dawn and God of War now have much shorter loading times. For example, the loading screen of The Last of Us: Remastered would only take about fourteen seconds, while the update took longer than a minute to load the game. Until Dawn has hardly any loading times worth mentioning, and God of War also loads faster.

Actor Mark Wahlberg, who plays Sully in the upcoming film adaptation of Uncharted, has shown an appropriate mustache on his face on social media.
He posted the short video on Instagram, which clearly shows that he is wearing a (fake) mustache. Most likely, the mustache is intended for his role as Victor ‘Sully’ Sullivan, the mentor of Nathan Drake, the main character in both the games and the upcoming movie.

Halo 5 is not getting a major Xbox Series X update
Halo 5: Guardians will not receive a comparable Xbox Series X update to Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
Developer 343 Industries has communicated this via Halo Waypoint. “After last week’s announcement, we’re getting a lot of questions about how Halo 5 plays on the new consoles,” explains community manager John ‘Unyshek’ Junyszek. “Halo 5 won’t get the same optimizations for Xbox Series X and Series S as MCC, but owners of the next-gen hardware will still see the benefits of faster load times and consistently higher resolutions.”

Some CD Projekt Red employees would run 100-hour workweeks to get Cyberpunk 2077 finished.
That claims journalist Jason Schreier on Twitter. In recent months, Schreier has reported more often about the so-called ‘crunch’ within the studio. After the game was postponed again yesterday – from November 19 to December 10 – Scheier explained more about what he heard about the situation within the studio.

Preview: Astro’s Playroom proves that the PlayStation 5 is truly next-gen
Astro’s Playroom is a free and short platformer installed by default on every PlayStation 5. The game was created by the Asobi division of the Japanese developer arm of Sony, the studio that also made renowned predecessor Astro Bot: Rescue Mission. That is a joyful fact, because this game shows what makes the PlayStation 5 next-gen. But not for the reasons you might think.
Sony currently only allows journalists to talk about one level: a small part of the game called Cooling Springs. So we have to be vague about the entire game. Fortunately, there is plenty to write about Cooling Springs, especially how the level utilizes the new DualSense controller.

Cyberpunk 2077 delay is due to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One
The recent three-week delay for Cyberpunk 2077 appears to be due to current-generation versions. This is what Adam Kiciński of CD Projekt Red indicates during a call with investors.
The Polish developer has posted a transcript of the meeting on their website. In it, Kiciński says the versions for PC, Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 were ready to release on the November 19 release date. “But while the game has been certified on both current consoles by Sony and Microsoft, some final optimization processes require a little extra time for such a massive and complex game.”
