The BTS Assurance allows students to train in two main families of professions:
- Business development and contract management;
- Claims and benefits management.
The BTS Assurance requires methodical, regular and thorough work. Students must be able to develop the following intellectual qualities: writing ease, rigorous reasoning, open-mindedness, autonomy and perseverance in personal work.
In addition, we insist in the preparation for professional life on the aptitudes of the students for a clear and neat presentation, for the use of the chosen language, for an ease of communication (courtesy and team spirit in the relations of the class ) and an ability to work in a group.
Register
Here are the parts to provide:
- registration form ;
- bulletins 1time and Tbut ;
- ORIGINAL transcript of Baccalaureate marks and a photocopy which will be kept by the establishment;
- infirmary sheet;
- certificate of participation in Defense and Citizenship Day (JDC);
- student charter for the BTS;
- photocopy of proof of residence (less than three months old);
- school leaving certificate from the previous establishment (EXEAT);
- three passport photos;
- photocopy of an identity document (identity card or valid passport);
- optional: check for 10 euros for membership of the house of high school students.

Training focused on the professional world
Students must, over the two years of training, 16 weeks internship in the workplace during school time. These internship periods allow students to acquire relational qualities, professional attitudes and behaviors. They also aim to develop a sense of responsibility by adapting to the realities and requirements of the job.
The evolution of professions in insurance is marked by:
- greater versatility;
- an evolution towards customer relations;
- increasing use of information and communication technologies.
The BTS Assurance takes these developments into account and offers many opportunities for students.

Studies and training after the BTS
Students holding the BTS Assurance can continue their studies in several ways:
- professional license in insurance;
- bachelor in compensation;
- bachelor’s degree in wealth management or marketing of financial products.
They will be required to train throughout their professional life through continuing education. They will also be able to follow diploma courses leading to a master’s degree.
