“And on Sunday afternoon we also expect storms, on the west, center and north side. There will be summer-like instability: showers, electrical discharges, torrential rains, hail.”
In Bucharest, on Friday, the maximum will reach 32 degrees, and the sky will be variable. On Saturday, the weather will be hot, and the maximum will be 35 degrees Celsius. On Sunday, the sky will be variable, and the maximum will drop to 32 degrees Celsius, according to ANM.
According to the cited source, we have had such high temperatures before in September. “In 2017, 38 degrees were recorded in Zimnicea, and in 2015 there were 39 degrees in Caransebeş. Increasingly, in recent years, we have September with high temperatures”, says the ANM specialist.
Hot in October too
The weather will continue to be warm in the first part of October.
“We also have days with over 25 degrees in October. Usually, in October we have stability and 2 weeks of good weather. It is the most stable month of autumn, in which there are many sunny days with temperatures above 25 degrees, and even 30 degrees in isolation. At least in the last 10 years we had periods with over 25 degrees at the beginning of October”, adds the ANM meteorologist.
After the middle of October, the rains should start, and the temperatures will drop to the average of the period, up to 22 degrees.
