From September to November, the whole country will be covered with warm air. Average temperatures are expected to be higher than average nationwide in September and October. In November, northern Japan will be near normal, but eastern and western Japan will be near normal or above normal, and Okinawa and Amami will be above normal.

Severe lingering heat will continue in September, and the progress of the season is likely to slow down from October onwards. Short sleeves will still be on the market for a while. The autumn leaves may also change color later than usual. Even in November, cold air from the north tends to be weak in eastern and western Japan, and winter news such as the first snowfall may be delayed.

September tends to have more precipitation in eastern and western Japan
