High school students who sexually assaulted their peers and even broadcast it in real time through social networking services were caught by the police.

The Daejeon Central Police Station is investigating five high school students, including 17-year-old A, on charges of violating the Sexual Violence Punishment Act and the Act on Sexual Protection of Children and Adolescents (production of sexually exploitative material) and assault.

Person A and others are accused of committing sexual violence by confining and assaulting B, a peer, at a motel in Jung-gu, Daejeon, in the early morning of the 14th.

It turned out that they even broadcast live on social media during this process.

After the crime, Ms. B’s health condition was not good, so group A and others took Ms. B to the hospital, and it is said that the medical staff who saw Ms. B’s physical condition suspected their crime and reported it to the police.

Some of the perpetrators were out-of-school youth, and it was found that some of the perpetrators were acquaintances of Ms. B.

The police, who applied for an arrest warrant for one of the students who committed the crime on this day, plan to continue additional investigations into the other students, including the detailed motive for the crime.
