High school equivalency procedure available: SEPH – El Sol de Hidalgo

The Hidalgo Public Education Secretariat (SEPH) reported that the procedures for equivalency of studies at the high school level can now be done online, so those interested in obtaining this type of academic opinion can do so from any electronic device.

This type of procedure serves to homologate the studies of one educational institution to another, that is, the study plans of each of the schools within the National Education System are equated and those that have similarities are validated, which benefits students who wish to resume their studies at another educational center.

Students interested in starting the process will need a valid official identification; CURP; partial certificate of studies at the High School level; secondary school certificates; application for the equivalency procedure; curriculum map of the school of origin and the one they wish to enroll in, as well as payment of fees, which according to information on the state procedures page, has a cost of 759 pesos.

It is important to mention that regardless of this procedure, students who wish to enroll in another high school must register normally, following the guidelines and process of the corresponding high schools or colleges.

To start the online procedure, interested parties must access the Upper Secondary Education Studies Equivalency Application System, through the link: where they must register to be able to enter with a user number and password; subsequently, the system will guide them to complete the entire process, which is exclusive for studies carried out only within the country.
