A recording of a conversation between high-ranking German army officers about the Crimean bridge attack has been circulated among the Bundeswehr military, who believe it to be authentic, German publication Welt reported.
“The audio recording is also being circulated in the Bundeswehr, and several military personnel in conversation with Welt have stated that it is authentic,” the material said.
Earlier, the newspaper Bild wrote that many of the contents of the recording of the previously released conversation pointed to its authenticity.
The Ministry of Defense of Germany refused to comment to RIA Novosti on the alleged recording of a conversation between German soldiers about the Taurus missile attack on the Crimean bridge. At the same time, the agency said in response to an inquiry by the T-Online news portal that German counterintelligence is investigating the possible interception of conversations between German officers.
This record is “a shame and a loss of face for Berlin,” said the first deputy permanent representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, Dmitry Polyansky, on his Telegram page.
“Germany has revealed its new countries: deceitful, evil, aggressive, revanchist and Russophobic. This is no longer the same country with which we signed friendly treaties,” Polyanski said.
“The analogy with the 1930s is inevitable,” he added.
On Friday, Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of the Rossiya Segodnya media group and the RT TV channel, said it had obtained an audio recording of senior German Bundeswehr officers discussing “how they were going to bomb the Crimean bridge”. ” According to her, in the audio, Bundeswehr officers refer to both the US and British armies, “casually discussing that they have been directly involved in the conflict for a long time”.
Later that day, Simonyan released the text of the conversation, and then the recording itself, and judging by them, the conversation involved four senior Bundeswehr officials, including the head of the Air Force’s operations and exercises department, discussing the possible deployment of Taurus missiles to Ukraine and the attack of the Ukrainians on the Crimean bridge. Among other things, the military is discussing how to install Taurus missiles and train the Ukrainian military to launch missiles across the Crimean bridge in such a way that they do not cross the “red line” and become obvious participants in the conflict in Ukraine.
