Abu Dhabi, 11 October / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, today received a phone call from His Excellency Mark Rutte, Prime Minister of the Netherlands, discussing the strategic cooperation relations between the two countries and the possibilities of strengthening it in a way that serves their mutual interests.
His Highness and the Prime Minister of the Netherlands also discussed efforts to contain the escalation in light of the developments in the dangerous situation taking place in the region, especially at the humanitarian level, stressing the priority of preserving the lives of civilians and avoiding exposing them to further risks, in addition to securing corridors that guarantee the delivery of humanitarian aid. In this context, the two sides stressed the importance of The international community must move urgently and seriously to push towards a comprehensive peace path that will spare the region from further crises that destabilize its security and stability.
