According to the data posted on the aforementioned portal and corresponding to the tests carried out on Wednesday, June 23, a total of one hundred new positive cases in the entire archipelago harvested with a positivity rate (percentage of new cases out of the total number of diagnostic tests performed) of 3.75%, well above the values recorded in recent weeks.
These one hundred new positives represented an absolute increase of 39 new cases compared to the previous day and would leave the number of confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic at 61,328. The number of deaths remained unchanged in the 845 accumulated deaths since the first death from SARS-CoV-2 reported in the archipelago on March 12, 2020 when dying in the Son Espases ICU a 59-year-old woman with various associated pathologies.
By islands, the Transparència data reported 74 new positives in Mallorca, island where last Wednesday a total of 1,572 diagnostic tests were carried out with a positivity rate of 4.79%.
More than a million tests

Regarding vaccination, the portal data indicated that 34.9% of the target population is already vaccinated with the complete regimen (344,260 people) while 54.4% of citizens called to get vaccinated (536,222 people) have already received at least one dose.
