That’s what the song is about – about feelings that sometimes seem impossible to fix,” says one of the “Dod five!” to the authors of the anthem, “Sudden Lights” soloist Andrejs Reinis Zitmanis. “The recording of this song was extremely special for us and the group, because it was an honor to work in the same studio with the Latvian music legend Gustavo. His verse gave the song a dose of realism and inspiration.”

Public media charity marathon “High Five!” for the tenth year, it will take place shortly before Christmas, from December 15 to 21, broadcasting six and a half days, or 158 hours, from a special glass studio in the city, on Doma Square, Riga. This year, the organizers of the charity marathon invite you to exchange a 5-euro donation for your favorite song on the air of Latvian Radio 5 in order to help young people at risk. These young people are often called “at-risk youth”, however, the purpose of the charity marathon is to call the public to realize that young people are not a risk in themselves, but the inaction, irresponsibility and indifference of adults have exposed them to risks that society has the task of reducing, allowing these young people to take steps closer to a safer future.
