Philippe Jolivet: Regarding the tour operating: At the start of the year, we are launching Relais d’Asie and Relais d’Afrique, which are precisely “different”, charming, authentic and top-of-the-line trips. range, thematic and original, oriented towards sustainable development, close to local populations, ethical and committed.
We want to go where others don’t or go less. We want to tell stories, stories of people, places, rivers, endangered species.
We wanted with my friend and partner Philippe Bertholet to take pleasure in offering another type of tourism and to say to travelers (and agencies) “ trust us », And for that we have set up original, strong products with partners at destination.
So when will Asia leave again? I do not know, soon I hope. As for Africa, a number of countries are open, and we have started marketing some fabulous products.
As for Brandbooster: we are always at the service of tourism companies who would like to think about their future, their strategy, precisely according to Covid. It will be important not to start again as before!
We are also there to support tourism and hotel companies, as we did with Leclerc Voyages, Mondial tourisme, Visit Europe… for more operational things B2VC, B2B, Off line and on line. There are also changes in the team which means that we will reboost… Brandbooster!
TourMaG.com – Finally on a personal level, how do you approach 2021?
Philippe Jolivet: Find serenity, do a little sport again, think about myself (because I have never worked so much as during this period), go back to concerts, go back to see football matches with my son, see friends again, give hope to young people …
This crisis will change a lot of things for me I think. And I’m dying to… to travel. Happy New Year 2021 to all.
