The case is related to Modi’s remarks made in Kolar, Karnataka during the 2019 Lok Sabha election campaign. Rahul’s speech that ‘Modi are all thieves’ was a blow.
The court had earlier refused to grant interim protection to Rahul and adjourned the verdict in the case. Rahul’s appeal against the trial court verdict was rejected by the district court.
